The Haughton Lady Bucs and Parkway Lady Panthers posted victories in tournaments Friday.
Haughton defeated Summerfield 61-27 in a battle of unbeatens in the Cedar Creek tournament in Ruston. Parkway defeated Peabody 45-25 in the ASH tournament in Alexandria.
Also in the ASH tournament, Benton fell to Oakdale 49-41.
Four Haughton players scored in double figures. Bella Hammond had a team-high 16 points. Skylar Branch had 13, Kamyra Turner 11 and Trinity Smith 10.
Haughton improved to 12-0. This is the second year in a row Haughton has won its first 12 games. Summerfield (13-1) ended the streak last season.
Eight Parkway players scored against Peabody. Dakota Howard led with 11 points. Khia Thomas and Zara Baker scored eight each.
Parkway improved to 11-1. Peabody dropped to 7-4.
Taylor Brown led Benton with 12 points, Kryshna Bostic had eight points and two steals. Addison Morris scored seven. Jannah Carter had eight steals and six points.
Benton dropped to 9-4. Oakdale improved to 7-4.
