The boil advisory for businesses and residents located south of the
intersection of LA Highway 80 and Bodcau Station Road in Haughton has
been officially lifted.
The advisory was issued after a leaking valve was discovered, prompting a
temporary shutdown of the water service for repairs. As a precaution,
Consolidated Waterworks/Sewerage District #1 issued an advisory for
affected businesses and residents.
Water samples were tested by the Louisiana Department of Health
Laboratory in Shreveport and confirmed to be safe. No further action is
needed.
