Keep Bossier Beautiful will lead the community in honoring the lives lost and the heroes who rose on September 11, 2001, during a remembrance ceremony scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 11, at 9 a.m. at Liberty Garden, located at the Bossier City municipal complex.

The annual event serves as a time for reflection and unity, bringing together residents, civic leaders, and veterans to commemorate the tragic day that forever changed the nation. This year’s program will feature a moment of silence, special performances, and remarks from distinguished speakers.

The keynote address will be delivered by Colonel Warren G. Ward (Ret.), United States Air Force, who now serves as executive director of the Louisiana Tech Research Institute.

The public is invited to attend and take part in the solemn observance at Liberty Garden, a site dedicated to remembrance and reflection within Bossier City.
