LSU kicker Aeron Burrell, a former Parkway star, has entered the transfer portal, according to multiple media reports.
Burrell was considered the No. 1 kicker in the nation by 247sports when he signed with LSU in 2024.
He has been the Tigers’ kickoff specialist the last two seasons.
As a freshman, he was named second-team All-SEC and first-team Freshman All-SEC.
He kicked off 74 times for an average of 64.78 yards, which ranked first in the SEC and No. 3 in the nation.
He had 66 touchbacks with only one kickoff going out of bounds. Only six were returned.
This past season, he kicked off 66 times with 45 resulting in touchbacks.
Burrell served as the backup placekicker to Damian Ramos.
He is one of about 30 LSU players currently in the transfer portal.
