In its inaugural year, Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana closed out 2025 with a significant investment in Northwest Louisiana, delivering on its mission to create maximum community benefits in the region it serves. Since opening in February 2025, the company’s signature Live! in the Community program has contributed nearly $400,000 in sponsorships, donations, and in-kind services, generously supporting a wide range of charitable organizations and programs that champion diversity, community development, human services, and responsible gaming.

In The Community is more than just a corporate program; it’s a promise to support the people and causes dedicated to making this region thrive,” said John Chaszar, executive vice president and general manager, Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana. “Live! Louisiana proudly invested more than a quarter-million dollars in sponsorships and contributed more than $75,000 in in-kind support in 2025 to strengthen the cultural, economic, and social fabric of our region. I’m so proud of our team members who stepped up to do their part and make a difference contributing thousands of volunteer hours to support our neighbor organizations.”
In total, Live! partnered with more than 70 organizations across the region, supporting major events such as Mudbug Madness, Red River Revel, and the Independence Bowl. Live! also served as a corporate sponsor for many regional Mardi Gras Krewes’ festivities and parades. Additional partnerships include local arts councils including Shreveport Regional Arts Council and Bossier Arts Council, Deaf Action Agency Las Vegas Night, Louisiana Association of the Blind, United Way of Northwest Louisiana, the Northwest Louisiana Veterans Celebration Committee, and the African American Parade Celebration Committee, The Bossier Chamber of Commerce, The Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce, and Visit Shreveport Bossier.
Numerous community events were held in Live! Event Center in 2025 shining a spotlight on the company’s dedication to creating positive community impact. Notably, Live! partnered with The Renesting Project in Bossier City, to present Renest Fest at Live! Event Center making it the biggest and most successful fundraising event in the organization’s history.
Beyond local giving, Live! Casino & Hotel’s parent company, The Cordish Companies, and The Cordish Family Foundation donated $1 million to the National Museum of Honor in Arlington, Texas, during the property’s grand opening last February, further demonstrating its commitment to honoring and supporting communities nationwide.
In 2026, community investment remains a top priority for Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana with new partnerships, initiatives, and volunteer efforts already underway.
