With guidance from the National Weather Service, local officials and the LSUHS Safety and Risk Management Offices, LSU Health Shreveport’s campus will be closed Monday, January 26. The closure of our academic campus does not impact the hospitals or clinics of Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport.
All scheduled essential personnel, including University Police Department officers, will still report to work in person throughout the weekend and Monday.
The LSUHS Safety and Risk Management team have taken steps to prepare campus for icy conditions, including pre-staging de-icer materials to allow for safe walking paths on campus.
We will continue to monitor conditions and provide updates as they evolve.
All Ochsner LSU Health hospital emergency departments remain open. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please dial 911.
