A memorial fund has been established at Citizens Bank & Trust Company to assist
the family of Deputy Tim Jordan, who was tragically killed in the line of duty
while serving with the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office on January 21, 2026.

Deputy Jordan was a dedicated public servant who faithfully served the citizens of
Bossier Parish with honor, courage, and commitment. His loss has deeply impacted
the Sheriff’s Office, the law enforcement community, and the many lives he
touched throughout his service.

“The Deputy Tim Jordan Memorial Fund” has been created to provide support
to his family during this difficult time. Community members, businesses, and
organizations who wish to honor Deputy Jordan’s memory and service may make
donations at any Citizens Bank & Trust Company location, which includes
branches in Benton, Haughton, Oil City, Vivian, and two in Shreveport on North
Market Street and Youree Drive.

Sheriff Julian Whittington said, “The outpouring of love and support for Deputy
Jordan and his family has been overwhelming. This fund allows our community to
come together to support the family of a deputy who gave his life in service to
others.”

The Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office extends its heartfelt gratitude to the community
for its continued prayers, compassion, and support.
