Sheriff Whittington Promotes Three at Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office

Bossier Parish Sheriff Julian Whittington announced the promotion of three
deputies during a ceremony held in the Sheriff’s Conference Room at the Bossier
Parish Courthouse.

Harlan Dredge was promoted from Sergeant of the BSO Motors Division to Patrol
Shift Lieutenant.

Andrew Lunsford, formerly a Patrol Sergeant assigned to the JCAT Division, was
promoted to Patrol Shift Lieutenant.

Matthew Bertrand was promoted from Corporal at the Corrections Command
Center to Sergeant and will assume the responsibilities of the Public Information
Officer.

Sheriff Whittington said, “These promotions reflect hard work, dedication, and
commitment to excellence. Each of these deputies has earned the trust of this
organization, and I am confident they will continue to serve the citizens of Bossier
Parish with professionalism and pride.”

The Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office congratulates Lt. Dredge, Lt. Lunsford, and
Sgt. Bertrand.
