(UPDATE 5/29/2026): DOTD advises motorists that crews will be moving to the next location as part of the ongoing $1.6 milliomn project to provide concrete pavement repairs on several routes in Caddo & Bossier Parishes.
Beginning Monday, June 1, 2026, there will be intermittent lane closures on LA 3194 (Martin Luther King Drive) in Shreveport between N. Market. St. and Hilry Huckaby III Drive. These lane closures are necessary to allow crews to remove damaged areas of concrete and replace with new material.
At this time, there will be no futher lane closures on LA 3 (Benton Rd) as part of this project. DOTD will issue another update with any additional information for that route.
Any previously permitting oversized loads will be accommodated through the work zone.
