Contractors with the Bossier Parish Highway Department will begin road reconstruction work on a portion of Koran Doyline Road in Doyline on Monday, August 17.
The project will include reconstruction of the roadway from LA Highway 527 to Potter Road. The work is part of the parish’s ongoing efforts to improve road conditions and enhance safety for motorists.
Motorists should expect lane closures within the construction zone while work is underway. Traffic delays are possible, especially during peak travel times. Drivers are urged to use caution and remain alert for construction workers, equipment, and traffic control devices.
This project is expected to be completed within one week.
Motorists are asked to slow down, follow posted signs, and exercise extra caution when traveling through work zones to help protect both workers and the traveling public.
Residents and commuters are encouraged to allow additional travel time and consider alternate routes when possible.
