Linda Lee Craig Boyd, age 59, passed away peacefully at her home in Haughton, Louisiana, on August 26, 2026. Born in Waukegan, Illinois, on January 31, 1967, to the late Norman and Suzanne Craig, Linda Lee lived a life defined by fierce devotion, boundless warmth, and an unforgettable, radiant spirit.
Professionally, Linda Lee wore multiple hats throughout her career from bank teller at Tri-State Bank, florist at Country Floral, secretary at Plantation Park, and finally as finance manager of Craig’s Power Sports which later became Louisiana Power Sports. Yet, her work was never just about numbers or transactions; it was about people. Armed with an infectious smile and a booming, joyful laugh, she had a rare gift for turning every single customer into a dear, lifelong friend.
Beyond her career, Linda Lee was a brilliantly talented artisan, celebrated for crafting stunning, custom, one-of-a-kind floral and event arrangements for weddings and family celebrations. But her truest masterpiece was her family. To her constant companion and husband of 38 years, Dennis Boyd, she was a devoted and cherished partner. To her children—Lindsey Boyd; Cody Boyd and wife Gabrielle Boyd; Bailey Boyd and husband Jorge Cardenas—she was simply the greatest mother of all time. She loved her children fiercely and without reservation; she was funny, deeply kind, and the kind of fierce protector who would go to war for any one of them without a second thought.
Linda Lee was also a wonderful sister to her brother, Michael Craig and wife Dorothy, niece Hannah and nephew Haden; sister Julie Craig McCoy and husband Gary, nephews Buddy, Craig, and Colt. She maintained a profound bond with them throughout her life, alongside a large, loving circle of aunts, cousins, and cherished friends. True to her legendary loyalty, she was the kind of trusted confidante who would stand by your side through absolutely anything, bringing pure joy and endless fun to everyone fortunate enough to orbit her world.
Above all else, her grandbabies were her entire universe. Known affectionately as “Lee Lee,” there was never anyone quite like her, and there will never be another. Molly Claire, Brooks Allen, Posey Belle, Teddy Eloise, Lottie Dale, Brigham Scott, and Jorgie Suzanne absolutely adored their Lee Lee, and she loved them back with every fiber of her being.
While her family knows they cannot have her back, they take immense comfort in knowing that she went to be with Jesus and finally got to see her mama and daddy in heaven. A person like her is a rare find; everyone should have someone so full of her smiles, her trademark laugh, and her generosity. The love and unbreakable bond she helped build will always be cherished in our thoughts and hearts, allowing her extraordinary legacy to carry on forever.

Services will be held to celebrate the life of Linda Lee Craig Boyd at 11:00 am on Monday, August 31, 2026 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. Officiating will be her little brother Michael Craig. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 30, 2026 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel.
