The Renesting Project will host Renest Fest 2026 on Saturday, Sept. 26, at Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana in Bossier City.

This year’s theme, “No Place Like Home,” reflects the organization’s mission of helping individuals and families turn empty spaces into comfortable and welcoming homes.

Renest Fest is the Renesting Project’s largest annual fundraiser and will bring together community leaders, businesses and supporters for an evening of entertainment, auctions, games and fundraising.

Guests will enjoy music from Dallas-based band Big D Energy, opportunities to win tickets to see Ed Sheeran and an expanded silent and live auction.

“We are incredibly excited for this year’s event. Our theme, ‘No Place Like Home,’ feels especially meaningful because it speaks directly to the heart of our mission,” said Emily Jo Manchester-Sanden, ACNP, executive director of the Renesting Project.

“Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana has once again opened their doors to us, and we can’t wait to welcome our live band, Big D Energy from Dallas, to the stage for what is sure to be an unforgettable night,” Manchester-Sanden said.

Proceeds from Renest Fest will support the Renesting Project’s work throughout Northwest Louisiana. The organization is the region’s only furniture bank and partners with more than 60 agencies to provide furniture and household essentials to veterans, youth aging out of foster care, survivors of violence and disaster, and families rebuilding after a crisis.

The Renesting Project is currently seeking event sponsors, auction item donors and community partners to help support this year’s fundraiser.

Businesses and individuals interested in supporting Renest Fest can visit RenestFest.GiveSmart.com for event information and sponsorship opportunities.

The event aims to help the Renesting Project continue providing the basic household necessities needed to help more Northwest Louisiana families have a place to call home.
