Parkway won the boys division In the annual Border Dash meet held Saturday at the South Bossier Recreational Complex.
Three Parkway runners finished in the top 10 and the Panthers scored 39 points. Ruston was second with 68 and Lafayette third with 80. Benton finished fifth with 152. Thirteen teams posted scores.
Parkway finished second to Ruston last year after winning the meet five years in a row.
Parkway senior Brennan Robin, who recently committed to Oklahoma State, won for the third straight year. He covered the 3-mile course in 15 minutes, 21.5 seconds.
Lafayette junior Maddox Tolbert was second in 15:41.0. Bossier senior Quinton Hodge finished third in 16:07.90.
Parkway sophomore Braxton Thomas was fifth in 16:15.30. Benton junior Samuel Ivins and Parkway senior Aiden O’Nishea finished ninth and 10th, respectively, in 16:39.50 and 16:41.50.
The race featured 143 competitors.
Other runners from parish schools in the top 25 were Parkway junior Isaac Ruliffson (13th), Providence Classical Academy senior Josh Pearce (16th), Parkway sophomore Pierce Dees (18th), Parkway senior Javaria Flournoy (19th) and Benton senior Dalton Bliss (21st).
Baton Rouge St. Joseph’s Academy, the Division I state runner-up last season, won the girls division. SJA scored placed five runners in the top 10 and scored 23 points. Lafayette Teurlings Catholic, which finished fourth in Division II last year, was second with 52.
Ruston was third with 91. Parkway finished sixth with 160. Fourteen teams posted scores.
Providence Classical Academy sophomore Kaylee Ivey led parish runners with a third-place finish in 19:23.0.
St. Joseph’s sophomore Hannah Schneider and Cate Barbier finished 1-2 in 18:36.0 and 18:43.80, respectively.
Benton senior Aaliyah Gonzalez was eighth in 19:48.30.
Parkway sophomores Alaina Stoute and Chloe Wells finished 23rd and 25th, respectively.
