Cypress Baptist Church hosted the 2025 Night to Shine on Friday, Feb. 7, a global event sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation that celebrates individuals with special needs. The event, held simultaneously at churches around the world, provided an unforgettable prom experience centered on God’s love, joy, and inclusion.
Guests at Cypress Baptist Church were treated to a red-carpet entrance, where they were warmly welcomed by cheering crowds and “paparazzi.” The evening featured hair and makeup stations, shoeshines, limousine rides, karaoke, gifts, a catered dinner, a sensory room, a respite room for parents and caregivers, dancing, and a special crowning ceremony where each guest was recognized as a king or queen.
“Night to Shine is my favorite night of the year!” said Tim Tebow, founder of the Tim Tebow Foundation. “We get to celebrate so many kings and queens and share how much they are loved by us and by the God of this universe. Our goal is to reach every person with special needs around the world—until all are celebrated.”
As one of hundreds of host churches worldwide, Cypress Baptist Church contributed to Night to Shine’s growing legacy. Over the past 10 years, the event has provided more than half a million guest experiences and engaged more than a million volunteers globally.
The Tim Tebow Foundation played a key role in making the event a success, providing planning resources, financial grants, and ongoing support through its Shine On ministry, which continues to assist churches and families in fostering a sense of belonging for individuals with disabilities.
Cypress Baptist Church was honored to be part of this life-changing night, bringing smiles, laughter, and love to all who attended.
