Four parish teams have qualified for the playoffs.

District 1-5A champion Benton (27-5-2) is the No. 6 seed in non-select Division I. The Tigers received a first-round bye and will host the winner between No. 11 Central (24-9) and No. 22 St. Amant (16-16)

Also in non-select Division I, District 1-5A runner-up Airline (20-13) will visit No. 17 Mandeville (23-8), and No. 18 Haughton (20-14) will travel to Youngsville to play No. 15 Southside (20-12) in best-of-3 first-round series.

In non-select Division IV, Plain Dealing (12-15) will visit No. 11 Delcambre (13-16) in the first round.

Playoff series generally begin on Thursdays or Fridays.

Last year, Benton reached the semifinals. The Tigers were swept by Live Oak.

Airline was swept by Dutchtown in the first round. Haughton had a bye in the first round and was swept by Sulphur in the second.

Plain Dealing’s last playoff appearance was in 2022 in Class 1A.
