The Providence Classical Academy Knights split games in the Stanley tournament Friday.
After losing to Converse 18-0, PCA rallied for a 15-11 victory over Logansport.
Elsewhere, Haughton fell to Calvary Baptist 5-3 at Haughton.
At the Stanley tournament, PCA (4-9) trailed 8-4 through five innings. The Knights scored six in the top of the sixth and led 10-8.
Logansport (4-9) scored three in the bottom of the inning ti regain the lead at 11-10. But the Knights put five on the board in the seventh.
David Mobley went 2-for-4 with two doubles and four RBI. Tanner Stinson and K Beale had two hits and two RBI each. Brady Skaggs had two RBI.
Boston King had a double. Braden Willis drew three walks.
Skaggs pitched two scoreless innings of relief. He got the final two outs of the sixth and sat the Tigers down in order in the seventh.
Mobley had two of the Knights’ three hits against Converse (12-6).
At Haughton, all the scoring took place in the first two innings. Calvary scored four in the first and one in the second. Haughton scored three in the bottom of the second.
Maddox Williams went 2-for-3. Russ Barrett had a double.
It was Haughton’s second loss to the Bucs’ second close loss to the Cavaliers in as many days. Calvary (13-8) won 3-2 Thursday.
Haughton (11-8) returns to District 1-5A play Tuesday against Parkway at home at 6.
