The Benton Tigers defeated the Parkway Panthers 60-44 in a District 1-5A game Monday night at Benton.
In another 1-5A. game, Haughton fell to Evangel Christian 82-57 at Evangel.
In a non-district game, Plain Dealing lost to Summerfield 61-43 at Plain Dealing.
At Benton, Kam Smith led the Tigers (11-12, 2-4) with 25 points. He also had four assists. Maddox Martinez had a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds.
Benton visits Airline Wednesday. Parkway (12-11, 2-4) visits Evangel Tuesday.
At Evangel, Joshua Marshall and James Alexander led Haughton (10-13, 1-5) with 12 and 10 points, respectively. D’Merrion Gladney added nine.
Amare Chambers paced Evangel (7-14, 2-4) with 23 points. Taelan Adams added 19.
Parkway defeated Sterlington 64-49 Saturday at Calvary Baptist.
