The Benton Tigers finished second and the host Parkway Panthers third in the Lone Survivor tournament Saturday.
The race for the team title was close. Byrd won with 192.5 points. Benton finished second with 184.5 and Parkway third with 177.5.
Whitehouse, Texas, was fourth with 173 and Haughton fifth with 135.5.
Seven parish wrestlers won their respective weight classes.
Parkway had four champions — Christian Gentry (126), Zayden Normandin (165), Avery Price (175) and Dylan Mesloh (285).
Gentry won his 100th career match during the tournament. He defeated Byrd’s Kendall LeRoy by technical fall 20-4 in the championship match.
Normandin pinned Sam Houston’s Harrison Hudson in 4:34 in his title match. Price defeated teammate August Stoddard by technical fall 16-1 in his.
Mesloh pinned Bossier’s Jeshua Lugo in 4:45 in his championship match.
Haughton had two champions — Will Haun (132) and Beau Beaudean (215).

Benton’s Cayden Brammer won the 157-pound class. He pinned Whitehouse’s Anthony Millanes in 3:04 in the finals.
Benton’s Kannon Henry (113) and Aston Myers (120) finished runner-.up in their respective classes.
Third-place finishers from parish schools were Haughton’s Satchel O’Nishea (113), Parkway’s Jude Flint (120), Benton’s Cayden Clark (126), Benton’s Trapper Scott (132), Benton’s Dyson Moos (138), Bossier’s Jaylen James (150), Haughton’s Hunter Reeves (157) and Benton’s Tony Fontenot (190).
