The Benton Lady Tigers and Parkway Lady Panthers opened their seasons with victories Tuesday night.
Benton defeated West Monroe 2-0 at Newman-Mason Field at Tiger Stadium. Parkway defeated West Ouachita 5-3 at Bobby Marlow Field at Preston Crownover Stadium.
Eryn Flowers and Eden Whiteman scored Benton’s goals. Payton Beloso had an assist. Jules Clifton had one save.
Benton is playing in the Loyola tournament which begins Thursday.
Parkway is playing in Haughton’s Cranberry Classic. The Lady Panthers play Bossier Thursday at 4:30. They have games Saturday against Northwood at 11:40 and Airline at 2:20.
