The Benton Lady Tigers and Parkway Lady Panthers qualified for the Division I playoffs.
Benton (24-7), the No. 15 seed, hosts No. 18 Zachary (18-10) in the first round.
Parkway (19-8), the No. 20 seed, visits No. 13 St. Amant (27-13).
Both matches are scheduled for Wednesday at 5 p.m.
Benton finished second in District 1 with a 5-1 record. The Lady Tigers’ loss was to champion Byrd (33-7), the No. 7 seed.
Benton is hosting a playoff game for the second straight year. Last season, the Lady Tigers fell to Denham Springs in the first round.
Zachary, a member of District 4, is in the playoffs for the first time since 2021.
Parkway is in the playoffs for the first time in school history. The program’s first season was 2017.
The Lady Panthers finished third in District 1 at 4-2 with losses to Byrd and Benton.
St. Amant lost to Hahnville in the first round last season.
