Plain Dealing is hosting a cross country meet for the first time.
The Den at Dawn Opener is scheduled for Saturday morning. The varsity girls race starts at 8 followed by the varsity boys at 8:30.
The course starts and ends on the school’s new track.
There is also a middle school division starting at 9.
