On May 8, 2024, our office responded to a report of a deceased person found in Red Chute
Bayou in the Stockwell Dogwood area. We have confirmed the identity as that of Joshua
Byrd, born on February 28th, 1988, who lived at 2402 Stockwell Road in Bossier Parish.
An autopsy is being performed to determine cause of death.
Our condolences are extended to Mr. Byrd’s family and friends.
