Hundreds of graduating Bossier Parish Class of 2024 seniors participated in the district’s Senior Walk tradition during the week of May 6 through May 10, 2024.

Graduating seniors dressed in their caps and gowns and walked through the first school where their educational careers began.

As they proceeded down the hallways lined with staff and elementary students, they were greeted with cheers, congratulatory posters, and smiling faces looking toward their future. Simultaneously, it was a full-circle moment for the seniors, realizing how far they had come on their educational journey.

“Our kids are so excited to see the graduating class of 2024 today. They can envision their own futures walking these same halls when they graduate,” said Julia Henry, Principal of Sun City Elementary School.

Take a look at some of the pictures below highlighting the tradition.
