The Bossier Chamber of Commerce recently bestowed a significant honor upon several deserving high school seniors, surprising them with Bossier Parish STEM scholarships. The recipients, hailing from Parkway, Haughton, and Benton high schools, were each awarded $1000 towards their academic pursuits.
The scholarships were made possible through the generous sponsorship of General Dynamics Information Technology Center, demonstrating a commitment to supporting the educational endeavors of local students in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
Among the distinguished recipients are Jason Nall, Emma Kitchings, Richard Falting, Caleb Lee, Meredith Darby, and Zachary Cryer. These talented seniors have demonstrated exceptional dedication and promise in their STEM studies, earning recognition for their achievements.
The surprise presentations took place at the respective high schools, where the recipients were met with applause and congratulations from their peers, teachers, and administrators.
