Robert Irving Snyder

Robert Irving Snyder, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at the age of 82. Robert, most well known as Bob, was a retired Master Sergeant of the United States Air Force and long time resident of Bossier City, LA.

Robert was born in Eureka, KS on April 26, 1941, to Johnathan Snyder and Faye Swearingen Snyder. He joined the United States Air Force in June of 1962 where he worked as a tactical aircraft maintenance specialist and fought for our country in Vietnam. Robert married Gwenda Ann Bracknell on June 1, 1963. Robert and his wife had three children, who they raised up as members of Bellaire Baptist Church.

Bob is survived by his three children; Connie Snyder, Robert Snyder, Jr, and Brian Snyder; his grandchildren; Sadie Grace and Landon Luke; and siblings; Dan Snyder and Elizabeth Snyder. He is predeceased by his wife; Gwenda Ann Snyder; his parents; Johnathan Kearney Snyder and Faye Swearingen Snyder; and his brother; Johnathan (JK) Kearney Snyder, Jr.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on March 2nd at Bellaire Baptist Church in Bossier City, where he attended for the last 40 years.
