Building on the momentum of its inaugural year, Visit Shreveport-Bossier and the Entrepreneurial Accelerator Program (EAP), a division of BRF, are proud to announce the recipients of the second annual Destination 318: $100K Tourism Challenge. The program provides funding to local businesses that are expanding the region’s tourism offerings, supporting entrepreneurs, and creating new experiences across Caddo and Bossier Parishes.

“Destination 318 is about investing in the people shaping the future of our region,” said Stacy Brown, President & CEO of Visit Shreveport-Bossier. “These creators bring fresh ideas to life through food, entertainment, outdoor experiences, and creative spaces. This gives visitors more ways to experience Shreveport-Bossier while strengthening opportunity and quality of life for our community.”

By supporting local entrepreneurs and encouraging new business growth, Destination 318 is actively achieving two strategic goals outlined in Visit Shreveport-Bossier’s Destination Master Plan. Leveraging the diversity of local business owners helps strengthen the region’s sense of place, while the structure of the program supports continued growth in the outdoor recreation and entertainment sectors.

A total of $100,000 in funding was awarded to six businesses selected by a panel of judges. In addition, one business received the $2,000 People’s Choice Award, voted on by the community.

Developed as part of Visit Shreveport-Bossier’s Destination Master Plan, Destination 318 was created to encourage tourism-related business growth while supporting projects that contribute to the long-term vibrancy of the region. The initiative reflects a broader investment in local business owners and experiences that strengthen both the visitor economy and overall quality of life in Caddo and Bossier Parishes.
